I don't think I have a ton to say about this book. I liked the first one a lot more; the characters, the story, the humor, everything. That's not to say this one was bad. Those Bradford men do have a certain charm, and I liked that Haley and Jason are still on the sidelines in this one. I think the biggest issue I had is that I just couldn't get over Trevor's mental berating of Zoe. It just ended up feeling to me like he was settling or something. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it left a bitter taste to the HEA ending for me. It also felt incomplete in that they found out about each other's lives (his past with his father & being raised by a single mom; her past in foster homes) from other people but never really talk about anything that personal with each other. It ended up lacking connection in my opinion.Yeah, I think that's all. It was good, I'll still read more from this author.
